James Yates has been a professional photographer for 13 years, working in a dozen U.S. states and 35 countries, including hot spots such as Sudan, Afghanistan and the prisons of Honduras. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee and works mostly in the business community, focusing on executive portraiture, events, architecture, automobiles and weddings.
He is also a gardener, beekeeper and shad-tree mechanic.
Yates comes from a strong documentary background and brings this vision to all his work.
He is relaxed, ingenuitive and always devoted to the needs of his clients.
In addition, Yates can walk long distances and speaks some Spanish, Thai and Mandarin Chinese.
